Therapy centred around you

About me

I’m a fully qualified psychotherapist, with a BSc in Integrative Therapy and 5 years clinical experience. I am currently offering online therapy sessions to clients of all ages.

As a children’s, young person’s and adult psychotherapist, I have been fortunate enough to share the journey of healing from trauma with clients within multiple well renowned agencies.

My experience began volunteering within a low cost agency in Hornchurch, Essex before joining a team of counsellors at the Centre for Action on Rape and Abuse. Here, I worked with children from 5 years of age using play therapy and creative techniques to assist those that have experienced or have been witness to sexual violence in their childhoods. I hold a BSc in Integrative counselling and I am a full member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working in line with their ethical framework - BACP membership number 00886637. You can find out more about their ethical standards that I follow here: BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

Trauma Therapy

As Carolyn Spring once said , “Trauma disconnects us both from ourselves and from others”. The purpose of trauma healing therapy is to reconnect us with oneself and improve relationships with others. The input from others around us can have a big impact on the effectiveness of therapy and this in particular has lead me to offer therapy for parents in addition to young people.

Therapy in childhood

As children, neural pathways are forming at the fastest rate, shaping the adult that they will become. Therapy during childhood can be used as a prevention to avoid deep-rooted issues in adulthood.

I aim to offer a space where young people feel safe and empowered while working alongside them to achieve their therapy goals. This, in turn, builds resilience and coping strategies that will last the client a lifetime.
